ARBOCEL®, powdered cellulose, is a chemically inert excipient and thus is not metabolized by the human body. It is often used in formulations as an alternative to lactose. ARBOCEL® has binding properties and a natural fiber structure that leads to stable tablets with low friability. ARBOCEL® M80 is a fine fibrous grade suitable for wet granulation.
